A visiting lecturer/ research fellow at KMUTT, Ratchaburi

The post for a ‘Visiting Lecturer’ for Research Collaboration and English Language Development at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, Ratchaburi Campus is open now until December15th, 2015.

King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, Ratchaburi Campus (Residential College — RC) runs an undergraduate program in Engineering.

We are currently seeking qualified applicants for a visiting lecturer/ research fellow working at RC for at least a month.

Applicants should have

-          MA or PhD in Applied Linguistics, English Language Teaching, Language and Literature, English for the International Communication or any related fields , holding a position in a university or research institution

-          a minimum of 1 year of full-time research experience.

-          Interested in students’ language development project, classroom based research, teacher training and development

KMUTT, RC have agreed on common standards, including the provision of a living allowance, accommodation (or a mobility allowance), a research budget, plus coverage of travel and visa expenses (if any).

EXPECTED OUTPUT

In collaboration with lecturers/researchers at KMUTT, RC, the visiting lecturer or research fellow is expected to provide the following outputs at the end of the project:

–        1 classroom research based on Ratchaburi Campus (It could be presented in an international conference or published in a refereed or peer-reviewed journal.)

–   A 3-hour special talk to KMUTT, RC students

–        1 training program for teachers in primary or secondary schools in Ratchaburi

Further exchange programs or MOU with the visiting lecturer or research fellow is also expected.

IMPORTANT DATES

– Application deadline → December 15th, 2015
– Announcement of recruitment result → December 22nd, 2015
– Work duration at RC → Mid-January/February 2016

*After the visit, the online collaboration is expected until the end of the project (the research paper is accepted for journal publication or conference presentation).
